Often times we feel that life is unfair, or that we didn’t get enough chances to prove ourselves. But at the end of the day if we succumbed to these forces then only our weak willpower is to be blamed. One such person who refused to give in to her circumstances is Tanya Sadh from New Delhi, who even after facing many misfortunes, never gave up, kept working her way up the ladder, and is now running a successful online bag brand called “cotton hearts”. 

This journey in itself was a challenge for her, but her determination and resilience never faltered. Today she is truly an inspiration to all the women out there, who feel overwhelmed and pressured by their circumstances. Her story teaches us the importance of moving forward to do what we dream of, even when the entire world is against us.

The initial struggles

After getting married at the young age of 18 due to family pressure, and then giving birth to her daughter at the age of 19, Tanya decided that this could not be her density, as she was always interested in fashion, she managed to convince her husband to let her work from home in the hopes of opening her own export house one day. 

Luckily, after working for 1 year, she was able to achieve that goal and established her own apparel export company. Everything went well for 4-5 years, but later the company started facing huge losses and on top of that her husband had taken huge debts on her name. 

But this setback was not enough to break her spirit. She soon started freelancing and her excellent marketing skills helped her to snag good projects. Not only this, she even started her own boutique, but this venture once again did not prove to be fruitful as she had to sell all her jewelry to pay off the debt that her husband had been taking.

This was the last straw for her as she finally decided to get separated from him, in order to move away from her toxic married life. 

A fresh start  

This decision gave her the chance to redo all her mistakes and start new projects. Till now she had gained a lot of insight into running a business, as now she was well aware that over-stuffing with employees is never a good call, plus she has learned that setting up targets is the most important factor in achieving growth in any type of business. 

By keeping these lessons in mind, she started working in her father’s workshop after requesting a tiny space. From there she started her online brand which was promoted via Instagram and Facebook. This idea turned out to be successful and she started seeing stable growth in her business.

 After this, there was no turning back for Tanya, she is now not only an official fashion designer for many events but also works as a fashion consultant for many other export houses. Even though her journey was filled with many ups and downs, she cherished the highs and learned from the lows. 

She believes that it is extremely important to take a stand for yourself because the world will stand with you only when you decide to stand up for yourself. 

All her success is the result of her strong willpower and management skills. She is someone who values time the most and she truly believes that this is the most crucial factor that has led to her success.
